E-mail: Contact 		With my family, including my 14 month old grand daughter we have just returned home from Makrigialos a few days ago. We all had a wonderfull time and found Catherine and Petros really welcoming and helpfull.
I used to frequent the Rock on previous visits with my wife before she passed away 18 months ago so it meant a lot to me to find, even though the name has changed to the Gecko Bar the old traditions have been maintained by the new owners. I can certainly recommend this venue to anyone staying or passing through Makrigialos. Enjoy yourselves.

Perhaps you remember us, we came in your bar for Irish Coffees and in mine 2 Candarels.
Sorry we did not come again but because of family sickness we had to go back in a hurry last Tuesday (15-9) in the very early hours in the morning. My wife's mum died yesterday.
I just want you to know that you served a very good Irish coffee. Perhaps we will come back another time.

maybe you remember us. We were in Makrigialos last year in October. We were the couple who wanted to get married in Australia, what we did in the meantime !!!
We had such a great time, in front and in your bar last year(we talked about your Bayleys Shakes for mounths!) that we have decided to come again and will spend the last week of September and the first week of October there again and are very happy about it!!!
Looking forward to see you, the bar, the beach and the sea again, Doris and Michael

Just to let you know that we had a wonderful time in Makrigialos,but the weather was a bit too hot for me! It's a shame we couldn't have stayed another day so that I could have caught the thunder storm to cool down!
How is "shove"? I hope that he got back from the North East safely!
Anyway,thank you so much for your hospitality,and hope to see you again in 2010.
P.S. I hope that you keep on wearing the Toon top,it suits you!

I had a lovely time at the Gecko and so enjoyed meeting the two of you. I do hope that you will consider our notion of a house swap - possibly for next summer. Athens turned out to be too much of a big city for me. Makrygialos was ideal!
